What I Wish Every Millennial Would Know & Do – Part 2 | The Real John McClane What I Wish Every Millennial Would Know & Do – Part 2 – The Real John McClane

Let’s continue where we left off last time…

As much as possible, eliminate the ‘knuckleheads’ from your life.

Why? Because a person that walks with wise men SHALL be wise, but a companion of FOOLS shall be BROKEN…

It has been said that you can predict the future state of a person by the FIVE closest friends or associations that a person currently has. So, who are your five ‘homies’? What type of habits do they have? Are they people full of integrity? How are they with money? How do they treat people that CANNOT benefit them? How do they take care of themselves?

You can discern the TRUE VALUES of an individual based upon careful observation of just TWO THINGS- how they spend their TIME, and how they spend their MONEY… For where their TREASURE is, there will be their HEART also… They can talk great ‘smack’ all day, but their heart is revealed in what they spend (or squander) the bulk of their time and money on…

Now, how do you ‘walk with’, or have companionship with either the wise or the foolish? Not only can you have companionship or fellowship by ‘hanging’ with people physically or face-to-face, but you can also ‘hang’ with people by reading their books, listening to their messages, and steadily ingesting their MUSIC…

Along these same lines, be so very aware of what you put into your mind, soul, and spirit…

We are instructed not to let ourselves be deceived, that bad company corrupts good morals…

Again, it’s the critical, crucial matter of WHAT the ‘bad company’ is injecting into your mind, soul, and spirit…

Conversely, if we DECIDE to ‘level up’ and hang with good people, who are farther down the road than what we are, then we can jumpstart our growth cycle, and exponentially increase the development of our lives…

While we’re talking about relationships, let’s briefly deal with the romantic side of the equation…

Work on becoming WHOLE, BEFORE you get married – develop yourself as much as possible – this will eliminate a portion of the desperation from your life of singlehood, as my ‘better half’ is a misnomer. A better plan for lifelong relationship success is the joining of two WHOLE people together, not two HALVES, as too many of us have experienced a ‘piece’ of a person – to their detriment AND ours…

To Be Continued…
